We brought our food and cooked out and had a picnic.
The boys loved it! They think having a picnic is just the
coolest thing! Ever since Aunt Tisha took them on a
picnic to the park, they always love it when I say
we're having a picnic. Although, they feel sitting on
a blanket in the grass is the only true way to have one. :)

While they were waiting on dinner, the boys decided to de-leaf the trees. They were jumping
up and trying to grab the leaves off the trees. (sorry if anyone from the park is reading this hehe)

Mason stole a cookie before dinner. :)
After dinner we went for a 8 mile bike ride. They have paved bike trails
there that are really nice. They take you through the woods.
At the beginning of the trail is a big hill that you go down. That's really nice
to start off, but you always remember that at the end of the 8 mile ride
you have to go back up the hill to get back to your car. Cole and Grant did
fairly well for the ride. Cole took a little time getting used to the trail and
learning to stay to the right side for other people passing and coming in
the opposite direction. Poor little Grant. I don't think he's used to riding his
bike for very long. He had to stop and take a lot of breaks. Chris and I and Cole
would just take off and then stop every so many miles to wait up for Grant, Joe,
and Paulette. We were so proud of Cole. He was a trooper. He didn't complain.
When we got to the end of the trail and to the big hill, I just started telling Cole
to pick a good pace and keep it and he'll make it up the hill. I kept teasing him,
telling him I was going to beat him to the top. He kept pushing himself and he
made it all the way up the hill! Most adults can't make it up the hill!

After the bike ride, we took the kids to the huge play area they have. It was so nice. It was empty. No one was around! We had the whole place to ourselves. The kids wanted to play in
the splash pad, but they turned off the water already because it was after 7:00. It was too cold anyways.

They had these cup like things that you could sit in and spin around. They were really hard to get out of! Once you got started spinning around, it just kept pulling you and you couldn't stop! The boys tried it out, but soon after I gave them a little shove, they started saying, "make it stop!"

And of course, I had to give it a try. :) Chris ran and grabbed the camera from me to take my picture. They all had fun laughing at me spin around and get dizzy.

Mason didn't want to slide down the slide. So he decided to slide down the rubber padding they had on the hill. He barely made it down. I watched him just wondering how much material was going to be left on his bottom after he made it down.

Next was the maze. It was huge! There was a bridge you could stand on and watch everyone try to go through it.

Mason loved it! He kept running all around trying to find his way out. At one point, he stopped, put his hands up in the air and yelled, "How do I get out of here?!" It was so cute!

Yah! He made it to the end of the maze! He was so proud of himself.

He got a little pebble in his flip flop.

And they're off to go through the maze again!

Uh-oh. Another pebble in his flip flop.
