for a good cause

today, we joined a motorcycle ride that supported breast cancer awareness.
we met up with some guys that chris met online through his motorcycle website.
then we all rode to a nearby harley davidson dealership where we met up with 700 something other bikers.
mostly harleys, of course.
i think total, there were maybe 15-20 sport bikes.
we were a little out of place, but we didn't mind. it was for a good cause and it was fun.
this is only a fraction of the bikes that were there today. we had to go in two separate rides because there were so many.
we rode around the town of davison.
the police even escorted us throughout the hour drive and they set up road blocks at all the intersections.
so, we got to run red lights and go through stop signs! that was the best part! :)
well, actually the best part of the day was seeing this bike.
it was hilarious!
yes, a guy actually rides this and yes, those are gun cases hanging off the back.
it looked as if he had picked up every piece of junk laying on the side of the road and attached it in some way to his bike.
a very fun day indeed.
the day ended with a cookout at one of the guys' houses who chris met off the site.

i don't know anyone currently who has breast cancer and for that i am grateful.
i have known some people in the past.
i do support this awareness and have those with this tragic disease in my prayers.
