my wednesday...

well, the morning started off with me standing out at
the end of the driveway with cole, waiting for the school bus,
only to figure out after being out there for 5 minutes
that it is a late wednesday.
that means he starts school an hour later than usual.
so, i laughed, turned around and took the walk of shame
back up the house.

while in the basement today,
i was looking for something.
so i climbed up on a stool to check inside a bin that
was up on a shelf.
mason comes and stands behind me and says,
"don't fall, mom. don't fall."
he puts his hands on my legs and says,
"i got you, mom."
it was so sweet.
i laughed thinking of him trying to catch me if i fell.
i would flatten him like a pancake!

when i got out of the shower today,
i walked into the living room to check on mason and
what i found was him sitting on the couch
with a huge wad of crumpled up wipes
sitting next to him.
i say, "no! mason what are you doing?"
he says, "i wash hands, mom. hands dirty."

*sigh*
what a day! and it's only half over with!
