we tried to make it to church today.
it took us a hour to travel a half hours' worth of driving.
within that hour, we saw 4 cars in the ditch!
after the 4th car, chris said,
"we are turning around and going home!"
by this time, he had developed a headache,
and his shoulders and neck and hands hurt
from being so tense.
so, we carefully exited the freeway and turned around.
we stopped at the first exit we came to that had food,
because cole had to go the bathroom.
we stopped, relaxed a little,
and got something to eat.
then, i decided to be a nice wife and drive the rest of the way
home for chris since the sun came out while we were stopped
and i thought the roads would be getting better
because they only got worse as we went south.
no. they weren't better.
we passed one car in the ditch shortly
after we got back on the freeway....

then we passed something a lil' similar to this.
a van was tipped over on its' side and there were
5 other cars involved in the accident!
that makes 7 cars now that we had seen in the ditches
since we left mcdonald's and started home!
then about 3 miles north of that big accident,
we saw one more car in a ditch!!!!
i am SO thankful to be home.

definitely glad you are home safe! This is a scary post to read - so much can happen when youre driving - especially on icy roads :(
ok, sorry I dont make much sense - i really know nothing about flickr - its just free image hosting, yes? So they give you a HTML code and you can just cut and paste it to your blog? If that is correct - then you're basically uploading your pictures too big. If your camera takes pictures that are 30x48 inches long, thats going to take up way too much space on your blog, right? So you have to resize them to be smaller - like
5x7 inches. I use photoshop to resize my images - you can use a free software like irfanview if you dont have a program that will resize your photos already.
To understand dpi (dots or pixles per inch) and website photo resolution VS printing photo resolution, take a few minutes and read the tutorials at photoshopessentials.com they're not all about photoshop, this one:

is about understanding pixles and image size. You might have heard the term "OPTIMIZING for the web"? Well, that means youre resizing your photos so that they are website size.
Really, reading those tutorials and working with blogger is ALL I did to learn everything I now know about pixles and resolution!!
