early birthday present

while talking to cole today, i said in playful tone,
"hey cole, guess who's birthday is on sunday?"
he said, "who?" i said, "mommy's!"
he smiled and said, "oh."
i said, "so, what'd ya get me for my birthday?"
he replied, "i don't know yet." then he asked if he could make a card.
so, i left him alone while he made my birthday card.
a few minutes later, he asked if he could have some tape
to tape the card to my present.
i thought, "hmmm...what present?"
so, i told him to hide it in his room somewhere and save it for sunday.
then about 15 minutes later, he asked if he could give it to me early.
so, of course, i agreed that he could.
he came and handed me a card taped to a clothes hanger. :)
i said, "oh! is this my present? the hanger?"
he said with a huge smile on his face,
"yep. it's incase you buy a new shirt for your birthday.
now you'll have a hanger to hang it on."
is that not the cutest thing ever?!
oh my! he was so proud of himself too!
that is such a precious gift! i will always remember and cherish
my hanger that i got for my 28th birthday. :)
