another birthday party

Sunday was Chris's grandma's 89th birthday party at the park. Almost all of the family was there. Some live out of state, and some were on vacation, but a lot of family was able to make it.



They had a huge wooden play area for the kids. So, right off, I was off watching the kids play while the food was being prepared.







After lunch, Brian and Chris decided to throw the football around a little.





Mason stood on the sidewalk waiting for daddy to throw the football to him too. He wanted to play so badly.



Daddy stopped every few throws to throw the ball to Mason too.



Had to stop and get a drink. He was working up a sweat. :)







Ethan joined in and he was the monkey in the middle.



Now it's Brian's turn.

I'm not really sure what this game was called, but Chris's aunt Jeri brought it. You have to throw these strings with these rubber balls on each end. The point is to get it to land on the bars. Each bar is a certain number point.
