mason was walking circles in the kitchen, dragging his blanket behind him singing,

chris and i both started laughing so hard! they are so funny!

on a different note:
tonight was parent teacher conferences. we got a very good report from cole's teacher. no more boyfriend/girlfriend problems. she said he tested very high in his reading, spelling, and math. she said he scored highest in the whole class and he's in a 1st and 2nd grade split class! she said he's still very respectful and works well alone and asks questions when he needs help. we were very proud of him.

tonight, i was sitting on couch reading. chris was laying on the floor. he says, "how hard is it to make up those hot pretzels in the freezer?" he has a smirk on his face, so i obviously know that he's asking because he wants to know how hard it is for me to put down my book to go make them for him. nice subtle hint, right? so i say, "it's not hard at all. just go in there, put them on the plate, put water on them and salt and heat them up!" he says, "but you do it so much better than i do!" i keep telling him to do it himself. mason says, "i'll get you pretzels from my halloween candy bag!" he takes off running to the kitchen. he brings back a small bag of hard pretzels and gives them to chris and says, "here ya go, dad!" :) he is so sweet!

i love my boys so much! they make me proud everyday!
