a special gift for Cole

Yesterday, Tricia gave Cole Scott's baseball hat, that he had with him the night of the accident, so he could take it to him at the hospital. Cole wore it in the car, fell asleep with it in the car, and then wore it into the hospital to see Scott. When we walked in the room, the first thing Cole did was give Scott the peace sign, which is Scott's signature greeting to me. It was so cute. Scott told Cole to keep it for him til he gets out of the hospital, then later, when he saw how much Cole liked his hat, he told Cole he could have it. :) That made Cole's day!
