It was Mason's first time on the tricycle. He didn't know how to pedal, of course, so I had to run behind him and push him while he did the steering.
That night for dinner, we pulled out our very missed charcoal grill! Mmm!!! We grilled out Johnsonville smoked brats and I made homemade macaroni n' cheese. We took it up to the hospital and fed the family that were there to see Scott.
Baked Macaroni N' Cheese1 lb. elbow macaroni noodles (cooked according to pkg. directions)
8 oz. shredded sharp cheddar
8 oz. shredded mild cheddar
1 lb. velveeta cheese
2 cups milk
1 Tbs. corn starch
1/2 stick butter
In medium saucepan, heat milk over medium low. Add butter and melt thoroughly. Sprinkle in corn starch and stir til there are no chunks. Sprinkle in sharp cheddar cheese and stir til melted. Stir in chunks of velveeta cheese until all melted. Add 1/3 mild cheddar and stir til mixed well. After noodles are cooked and drained, pour noodles in greased 9x13 dish. Pour cheese mixture over noodles and stir well. Sprinkle remaining mild cheddar cheese on top and bake uncovered at 350 for 20-30 minutes. Serves 8-10
