"....like a family...."

i wish i had a precious picture to go with this short, sweet story, but i am too tired to go outside and take one.

tonight was "yard work" night.
i rode the riding lawn mower while chris did the push mower and weed wacker.
the boys played in the yard with toys and bikes.
i ran out of gas in the mower, so i walked up to the garage to grab the gas can.
cole ran up to me and said, "mom, can you go in the house and get me and mason our toy lawn mowers so we can all mow the grass like a family?"
it was so precious!
i went inside, smile on my face, found the cute little lawn mowers and brought them outside to two sweet, eager boys.
they gladly took them from my hands and proceeded to follow me, a safe distance away of course, around the yard with their lawn mowers.

i love family night! :)
