Well, here it is. The big day everyone has been waiting for. Election Day.
Today, history will be made. We will either have the first black president,
the first woman vice president, the oldest president, or the youngest president ever.
A lot of firsts.
In talking to people about the election, and hearing a whole lot of commercials,
one topic has been brought up repeatedly - change.
What are we wanting to change?
Are we wanting to change the economy so we can have more money in our pockets?
Taking money from those who need it and giving it to those who don't?
Are we wanting our taxes raised?
Are we wanting to change the fact that it is illegal to abort a LIFE? Yes, I said LIFE because
THAT'S WHAT IT IS! Not a fetus - it is a person, a life that God has given someone whether
they deserve it or not, whether they want it or not.
Are we wanting to change what God has ordained as a marriage? - One MAN and one WOMAN.
Is voting someone into office who believes it is okay to murder a unborn child just so you can gain
material things and money right?
How much is your childs' life worth to you?
Everyone is so worried about their jobs, their security, and not that we shouldn't worry about them, but where should our priority be?
I am reminded of a scripture - Matthew 6:33 "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things will be added unto you."
If we put God first in every decision, then our material blessings will be met.
