i've always heard that saying,
and today i began to wonder if that is still true.
the reason being is that while sitting at the dining room table
making a grocery list for the week,
mason comes strolling on by on his way to the living room.
he slows down as he walks by me and looks at me
very seriously and says,
"mom, i take care of booger.
i take care of it. it all gone."
i am busy thinking on my list so i just say,
"oh, okay."
but then i stop and think about what he just said.
i stop writing and look at him and say,
"mason, what did you do with your booger?"
he turns and looks at me while he's walking away
and says very confidently,
"it in my mouf"
that's the answer i was afraid i was going to get.
i say, "mason! no! that's icky!
we don't stick boogies in our mouth!"
and there you have it.
maybe next time i don't want him to be so honest.
i just won't ask next time.

LOL!!! i love that story!
Mason is a ham and a half, the things he says and does are sometimes just hilarious. even when he hits jonah so hard he flies across the room i can't help but laugh. i know i'm a bad mother.
now now, we don't actually know that jonah went flying across the room. he could have gotten the bright red cheek and ear from any number of things. lol cole is the only person who was in the room at that time, so we'll have to get the truth out of him. haha
the red mark is gone right? lol
Oh!!!!! I was hoping he'd say he put it under the table!! I guess a little dirt and a few boogies won't kill a kid... I hope!
