chris's parents came with us.
cole was real wobbly at first and was just like a rag doll, but he got the hang of
if after awhile and quit holding onto our hands. he took off and tried it on his own. he fell, ALOT, but he got back up and tried again. we had him put on shin pads to protect his legs and knees when he fell, but he needed a butt pad. he fell more on his rear end! toward the end of the night, he looked at me and said, "mom, my butt hurts." i felt so sorry for him, but he was a trooper.
even mason went out a few times to skate. he spent most of the night in the bleachers with grandma, watching. he would stand up at the glass and watch everyone skate around and around. daddy and grandpa would skate up to the glass where he was standing and body check it. he would laugh and laugh. cole tried doing it once and it knocked him flat on the ground. :)

aww that's so cute. Will they let you skate on the ice without skates like if your jonah's age?
