wife of the year?

well, after all that chris has done for me
this past week - dinner at olive garden,
letting me stay home and rest wednesday night,
going grocery shopping for me -
after all of that......how do i repay him?
i forgot to send him a sandwich in his lunch!
yep! i did that!
i sent my husband off to work for 10 hours
and didn't even bother to send him a sandwich!
(my excuse is i was not feeling well last
night and so my mind was foggy. lol)
don't worry - i sent him breakfast,
and i sent him chips, a cupcake,
a plum, and some carrots to go along
with the sandwich, but no sandwich.
it dawned on me about 5 minutes before
his lunch break.
in a panic, i call his friend who
manages the arby's in fenton.
he has to have a large order over the phone
in order to be able to take it to his work.
so i fearfully wait for chris to call and yell
and tell me i forgot his sandwich.
he calls me and doesn't even know yet.
i ask him, he looks - sure enough, no sandwich.
he does not yell. he says,
"that's okay. i have other food i can eat,
but please make sure dinner is ready as soon
as i get home. i'm going to be starving."
i don't know what got into him lately,
but I LOVE IT!!!! :)
