jonah and mason were little artists last night.
tish set up the paper, paint brushes, and paints
for them on their little table.
mason was very eager to paint since this was
the first time, yes i said the first time,
that he had painted.
i like my tables and furniture the way they are
and so i had not yet introduced paint to mason.
he had already drawn on my freshly painted
dining room walls with his pencil, so i knew
the kind of potential finger paints could have.







mason was very careful. he drew carefully on his paper.
he was careful in choosing what colors he wanted.



he began to notice that jonah was taking all the bowls of
finger paint and mixing them and taking huge scoop fulls of
the paint to glob on his paper. i think mason was worried there
wasn't going to be any more paint left.












that was how mason painted.
this is how jonah painted.



hands all in. he had paint everywhere!
his shirt was covered. his hands, obviously.
he even has it on his mouth! lol



look at the paint just oozing between his fingers. lol
he collected all the bowls of paint and put the
bowls inside each other, as you can see in the picture.







it was a mess after they were done! paint was all over the table.
it was so cute watching them paint though.

hmm....one of these things is not like the other. lol
