oh the sweetness!

The following is a note that Chris wrote on his facebook.
It was a "25 random things about me" kind of note that got passed around,
and you are supposed to write just that. So, he decided to make one.
Let me just tell you that he had me read 1-15, because that's as far as
he got and had to stop to think some more, and I cried like a baby
when I read it. Sometimes it's amazing how deep and sweet and
loving and sensitive he can be. It's not too often because it's not
"cool" for guys to talk this deep or be this emotional about
certain topics, but I am SO glad when he is because it gives me
a wonderful glimpse inside his big, loving heart. (And let me
clarify that him being sweet and loving is not the surprising part,
it's the deepness and sensitivity that I was commenting on.)
I "heart" him very much!

1. i'm scared every day that i'm not being the best dad i can be.

2. i feel guilty sometimes when my boys act wimpy and i get mad

3. i wish i could ride my motorcycle every day. it is just "me" time to ponder life

4. i am the cheapest guy i know i will search every store sometimes more than once to find the good deal

5. i get jealous when some one can do something better than me that i have been doing for years (ex. play guitar)

6. i am furious that no one seems to have any respect for God, people, authority, and elders

7. i sometimes wonder if i'm disciplining my boys too much, but i have to train them the best i can.

8. i miss my brother a lot, we always did everything together (even though we always fought)

9. i love collective soul. they write soo many good songs, with sweet riffs!!

10. i like to dress stylish and love argyle (i have know idea why)

11. i love hearing Tasha play piano. i wish she would start teaching the boys.

12. i spend way too much time researching motorcycles i will never own

13. i love John Wayne movies and have to watch all day if they run a marathon of them

14. i found out how out of shape i am just recently playing hockey but want to keep playing

15. i wish sometimes i lived in earlier times when you survived on the sweat of a mans brow and not his parents money.

16. my dad is my best friend other than my family

17. sometimes i come off as being shy but really i am a big goof who loves to make people laugh

18. i am in awe that my sister can juggle 4 kids (not literally)

19. life is going by so fast. i wish it would slow down

20. i really want to visit Italy someday

21. i play guitar and when no one is around i do a lot of jumping around (even jump off the amp) Tasha has seen it though

22. i wish i had a better and smooth voice. i love 1 accapella voice or with an acoustic guitar. just simple pure music - no fluff

23. i wish i got a full degree not just specific classes.

24. i love kawasaki green

25. i consciously have to try to be a good husband and father (i wish it came more natural)
