Free Day! We started off the day at the Berkeley Plantation. That was interesting. The property was huge and there was a lot of interesting things to see. We got to get a tour of the first floor of the house and hear about all of the history involved with it. We got to walk down by the river where Chris tried teaching Cole how to skip stones. After the plantation, we ate lunch and went back to the condo where we took the boys “swimming” in the hot tub. They loved it! They had their little water toys and they splashed and jumped all over the place. After the hot tub, Danny went with us to play putt putt golf, where Cole, Mason, Danny, and myself all got a hole in one on the #16 hole! Chris wasn’t happy about that. After dinner at a Chinese restaurant, we met everyone at Williamsburg for a Ghost Tour. It lasted about an hour and half. We walked around Colonial Williamsburg listening to “ghost” stories. Our tour guide explained that all of the stories she would be telling were purely for entertainment, but the possibility of them being true and there being “spirits” were true. She began the tour by asking how many of us believed in ghosts, after no one raised their hand, she said, “I can see I’m going to have my work cut out for me!” She was a very good tour guide and told some very interesting stories. We left that night and went back for our last night in our condos.
