chris was so exited for this trip, and so were the other guys.
there were 5 of them this year. they were blessed by letchard, and got to sleep
in a cabin instead of a tent. they got there friday night about 7:30. they tried to
do some fishing when they got there, but apparently it was too dark to see anything.
so no one caught anything. early saturday morning they took off to the river for a day of fishing. they had a successful day. not as many fish brought home as they were hoping for, but chris and danny each had a fish to bring home. so all in all, it was a good day - minus a few mishaps. chris had 4 fish that got away from him. three walkie talkies were dropped in the river. a couple pairs of sunglasses were to lost to the river. and i think everyone fell into the river at least once. some more than once i hear.
they had a blast, nevertheless. they are anxious for next year already and planning on bringing more people even next year. chris is getting really good at fly fishing. he might give this guy a run for his money pretty soon!

the guys had a fun weekend and us ladies did too - well, i sort of did. i went over to my mother in laws and played games with her and carol all day. let's just say the boys were a little out of sorts that day and managed to give me a headache before 9:30 in the morning, managed to embarrass me, and managed to force me to leave early and go home so i could give them their baths and put them to bed a.s.a.p.!
after i put the kids to bed, i had a wonderful rest of the evening waiting for the guys to come home. i used 15 flex points and ate 3 chocolate chip cookies that i had made for chris' trip, and i ate some apple pie. lol it was a good night!
