guy time with daddy

yesterday my body decided to come down with this lovely cold/flu that everyone is getting these days. i should have seen it coming because i jinxed myself just the day before. i was saying to paulette that i'm surprised i've been able to go as long as i had not getting sick considering chris, and both boys had been sick for the past two weeks. well, yesterday morning i woke up with a very sore throat - i actually noticed it in the middle of the night. you know, when your throat is super dry, your tongue is dry, and you can't breathe out of your nose so your mouth has to stay open and dry out some more? yeah. that's what it was. i woke with a dull headache in between by eyes as well. as the day progressed, everything got worse. the headache started lasting longer and getting more intense. it seemed that whenever i stood up the headache was the worse. i had it sitting down too, but not as bad. i had a cough and a runny nose too. i couldn't quit sneezing and blowing my nose. i wasn't really in the mood to cook dinner last night, but chris had a training class in troy and didn't pass too much on his way home so i just decided to make dinner. i wasn't making anything too difficult. after dinner, chris set up a movie on the laptop for me, had me get in my pj's and hop into bed, and i sat there and watched a movie while he took the boys outside to play. he's so great.

i left the bedroom to grab a drink from the refrigerator. i stopped at the dining room window and peeked outside to watch them for a few seconds. the few seconds i decide to leave my bed and brave getting a headache because i got up and started moving and also to see what they're doing is, of course, when mason gets hit in the mouth with a hockey stick. i should have just stayed in bed. lol







chris was a little creative with the camera and got some pretty shots.







today isn't much better except for the fact that i don't have the annoying headache. everything else is pretty much the same and my voice sounds like a dude.
