We had been "promising" Cole a new dirt bike since last summer. He outgrew his Honda 50 and we were going to try to get a new/used one for this summer. Chris had been religiously scouring craigslist for a Honda 70. He found some good ones, but we needed to wait until our taxes came in - which was any day. The money finally came in and so Chris got serious. He made calls, but they didn't fall through because they were either just sold or the owner didn't have a title for the bike and we were NOT about to buy a dirt bike that didn't have a title! Friday night Chris was down to his last two dirt bikes and they fell through that night. He was so disappointed. Saturday morning, we were getting ready to send the boys off with my parents and head to meet Joe and Paulette to ride with them down to a funeral. I decided to get on craigslist and do a search myself. I found one in Hudsonville, but that was 2 hours away. I showed it to Chris, he called, got the guy to go down on the price and so we rushed around to get ready and leave. We hoped to be able to go get the bike and make it to the funeral in time, but that did not happen. So, we took our time coming home. The next day was an unusually warm day for March, so we left grandma's early to take Cole over to Joe and Paulette's to ride his new/used bike. Mason was excited as well, because when Cole gets something "new", then that means Mason gets to own what was previously Cole's. No more sharing! :)

Cole was a little nervous at first when he got on it, but it only took a few seconds and then he was a natural at it, took off, and didn't want to stop!
