By the time we reached Gaylord and our resort, Marsh Ridge Resort, it was 10:45 pm. As soon as we turned into the driveway, there was a huge hill straight up that we had to drive on. It was also covered in snow and ice. Thankfully we made it to the top. When we reached the top, all we saw were some buildings and a couple cars and snowmobiles. It was dark and there were no lights on in any of the buildings. We finally found the lobby building and when we pulled up to the front door, we noticed all the lights were off, but there was a sign that had a number to call in case of emergency. We called it and the man told us our room key was inside the door in an envelope. Yep! Definately up north!
