My connection with the outside world....

Yesterday I did not have my cell phone. I felt lost. I had lost all connection with the outside world. I, of course, had the land line to use, but I was trying to keep that open so my husband could get ahold of me if necessary. Thankfully, my dear sister had an old charger that could be used with my phone. I was so excited to get to her house last night and get that charger! Within 20 minutes of having the phone charged completely, I heard the most wonderful lil' ditty in the whole wide world - my cell phone was ringing! I am now reconnected to the outside world once again. "Thank you" to the inventor of cell phones.
