Mason's First Tee Ball Game

Mason was so excited for his first Tee Ball game! I woke up this morning, unsure of whether his game would be indoors or outdoors. Rain was in the forecast, which meant his game would be inside the gym, but the weather link online was saying that rain wasn't due til the afternoon. Well, just before we left the house it started raining. Whew! It was super windy and only 41 degrees outside so - rain or not - I did NOT want to be sitting outside!

(Please excuse some of the blurriness in my pictures. I have not perfected how to take indoor action shots without getting some blur. But you get the picture!)



It was so nice that Jonah got to join his Tee Ball team too. And, by the way, they are supposed to be the purple team, but for some reason, their hats and shirts are coming out more of a royal blue color. Not sure why.



Jonah was so funny - they were supposed to hit the ball off the tee and then run to the other side of the gym (to a designated line) and then turn around and run back. A kid from the opposite team was supposed to run and catch the ball and throw it back to the teenager standing at the tee. Every time Jonah hit the ball, he'd run straight for the ball! It was hilarious! He'd make a bee line for that ball. He even beat the other kid to the ball one time! He would be weaving in and out of other kids (while they were in a game) trying to get that ball. It was so funny!







Awwh! Cousins! :)





That is Joshua. His big sister, Hannah, is in Cole's class. They've gone to their house a few times to play with them.



It's a rule for the 3-4 year old Tee Ball that one parent must be with their child at all times during the game to help them out so they know what they're supposed to do. Chris is still recovering from his surgery, so we asked Joe to step in this week. The last thing Chris needs is a kid wacking him in the face with a baseball bat or getting hit in the face with a ball! :)







Tisha, the photographer. :) We were both out there with our cameras taking pictures left and right of the boys and at one point I heard a guy say, "Oh look! The press is here!" lol







Completely did not mean for that picture to come out in a total blurr, but I kind of like it. :)







And this little guy?....sat completely content during the whole game on Paulette's lap. Tisha plopped him down in her lap so she could help Jonah change into his Tee Ball clothes and Lucas was completely happy sitting there. At one point during the game, I looked over to see Cole playing with him. It was so cute.
