Baseball

Well, baseball is nearing the end. Last night was our second to the last game before the playoffs. We played the Cardinals last night. They were the first team we played and we tied with them. Very nice team though. Nice coaches and kids. We lost by one point, unfortunately. The first inning hurt us bad! Their team got 7 runs on us that inning and our kids were just sleeping out there. They perked up in the second inning though. We got them cheering their team on, and even Caleb's mom got into it. She was our cheerleader. The kids would yell, "Let's go Cole. Let's go!" (or whoever was up to bat at that time) After you yell, you're supposed to clap two times. Then do it over again. Well, Caleb's mom let out a "WhooWhoo!" The kids liked that and did that instead. It was pretty funny. But it worked. It got them a little bit more awake and they played better, but it just wasn't good enough. Close though.
